Dhikala Tiger Tracing Tour
Thrilling Dhikala Tiger Tracing Tour in the Heart of Corbett.
Jim Corbett National Park
The Safari Zone is a special area in many Pokémon games where the normal rules of wild Pokémon encounters are changed: you cannot use your Pokémon in battle and instead must use a special mechanic to try to catch wild Pokémon. It’s usually accessed by paying an entry fee (or fulfilling certain conditions) and then you roam through the zone under special restrictions. In many versions you have a limited number of steps or a limited number of Safari Balls.
Mammals : The zone mentions animals such as the Royal Bengal Tiger, leopards, elephants, deer species (sambar, spotted), wild boar, jackal, sloth bear in some mentions.
Birds : A rich variety of birdlife is present, which makes it good for bird-watchers and nature photographers.
Flora & terrain : Sal forest, water-bodies/reservoirs, grasslands and fairly open stretches that allow visibility. The forest is described as “densest forest area” in some write-ups.
Operating season : One source says open throughout the year (subject to weather) for day safaris. Another source says (older style) that some zones are open from about November to June. (For other zones)
Safari Timings : Usually two sessions – morning and afternoon/evening. For example some mention morning 6:30-10:30 and afternoon 2:30-6:30 for this zone.
Booking / Permits : You need to book safari in advance (online or via authorized agents). Carry ID proof. Capacity is limited (50 jeeps per shift etc).
Accommodation : Staying overnight inside the zone is possible (forest rest houses + tree-house options). For example the “Phato Rest House” inside the zone is mentioned.
How to Reach : From Ramnagar – drive approx 20-30 km (depending on exact gate/road) to Phato. Good idea to plan transportation ahead.
